This small project is for a renovation of a single family house, located in the historic center of the city of Batak. The house received new sanitary infrastructure: new kitchen and bathroom were carefully inserted into the space. The new layout preserved and complimented the original volumetric structure. The existing wood frame was preserved and partially rein forced by steel, where necessary. The main facade was restored with its original details. Design was developed in 1986. Construction was complete in 1988.
