This project is a restoration and interior design of the Roman-catholic church in Varna. The building had been built in the non-typical for Bulgaria Gothic-revival style, but it had been abandoned for decades and fallen into neglect, when in 1990 in the wake of the democratic changes in Bulgaria, the Roman-catholic minority with newly raised foreign funds began restoring its churches. The program called for recreating the original vaults, that defined the interior, with some proposed additions for meeting spaces and living quarters. The schematic design shown here is from 1991.
