The Lenox is a luxury condominium building at the corner of 129thvStreet and Lenox Avenue. The units, 77 in all, are both one and two stories, and more than one third come with generous private terraces overlooking the street. There is an 88-car parking garage located underground. Night or day, there are striking cityscapes from almost every window.  Looking out from the Penthouse terraces on a balmy night, the city spreads out in front of you like an urban fairy tale. The building, contextually clad in brick and stone, is the most architecturally striking luxury condominium north of 125th street. The marketing team clearly sought an appeal among young, successful African-Americans, offering them an ersatz image of the classic pre-war apartment building. The architecural details fit in with the large classically styled masonry buildings lining the avenue. The project was designed and developed by WQB Architects during Harlem’s renaissance in 2002-2004 with Bojidar Kadiev as Senior Project Architect.
