In 1987 Plovidv’s City hall, a historic landmark from the late XIX century, commissioned a thorough renovation with redesign and redecoration of the main assembly hall and mayor’s offices with custom designed wood paneling and furniture. The original project also included a new attic floor with extension of the existing mansard roof. The political changes of 1989 and the following economic downturn limited the scope of work to restoration of the main façade and redecoration of the assembly hall. The project was developed in collaboration with Vassil Shilev Architect .
