This historic property located in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods of New York was most recently used as a social club for the alums of Williams College. The brick and limestone exterior coupled with rich interior paneling and moldings lend the building a consistently conservative and traditional turn-of-the century aesthetic. The renovation project is for a conversion into an extended stay hotel aimed at the young professional crowd. The exterior was preserved and restored in its entirety and most of the interior details were reused in the new context. Bojidar Kadiev is the Architect and Architect of Record for the project. The interiors are designed by In Situ Design with Lillian B. Interiors. The public spaces, the restaurant and the bar are designed by Reid & Taylor Studio. The gross area is: 28,000 sf with 31 rooms or suites varying in four categories and twelve styles. Work was completed in December 2013.
